Jen Moderson is a Partner at Amin Talati, focusing on intellectual property, licensing, and litigation matters. Ms. Moderson primarily represents food, dietary supplement, drug, biotech, cosmetic, medical device and technology companies.
Ms. Moderson is a registered patent attorney and has prepared and prosecuted U.S. and foreign patent applications in the chemical and mechanical arts. Ms. Moderson also prepares trademark availability, patentability, patent and trademark invalidity, and patent and trademark non-infringement opinions. Additionally, Ms. Moderson files and prosecutes trademark applications in the U.S. and abroad.
Ms. Moderson counsels clients on developing, maintaining and enforcing international intellectual property rights through national and regional patent and trademark offices, international courts and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Ms. Moderson’s practical experience includes overseeing all aspects of preparing, filing, prosecuting and maintaining foreign patents, trademarks and applications through the World Intellectual Property Organization, the European Patent Office and individual foreign patent and trademark offices.
